Guild Launch has done a bunch of upgrades to their backend systems and datacenter. One of those changes is moving to new hardware to support their Ventrilo services.
As such, our old Ventrilo server is no longer active. For the new server name, please see the sticky in the Members Forum.
All you have to do is change the server name information at the top, you do not need to change your passwords or anything else as that information remains the same!
Just sending out a red flag as it supposedly happened earlier this morning: Rift's Account DB was hacked and while they claim that no credit card info was compromised, I'd be changing your passwords and removing your CC info so you don't end up with someone hijacking your account.
Rift publisher Trion Worlds' account database has been hacked, potentially compromising information including user names, encrypted passwords, dates of birth, email addresses, billing addresses, and the first and last four digits and expiration dates of customer credit cards.

The firm said in a statement that "there is no evidence, and we have no reason to believe, that full credit card information was accessed or compromised in any way.
"We have already taken further action to strengthen our systems, even as we, with external security experts, continue to research the extent of the unauthorised access," it added. "We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you."
Users will be required to change their passwords, security questions and answers next time they log in to Trion's website, and be given the option to connect their account to its Mobile Authenticator to enhance account security.
The firm also advised that customers who used their Trion username and password for other accounts, such as banking, also change those, and carefully review statements and account activity.
"You should have continued, uninterrupted access to Rift, and we do not anticipate any disruptions to your playing time," Trion said. "Nevertheless, if you own the Rift game, you will be granted three days of complimentary Rift game time once you update your password and security questions.
"Additionally, once you update your account and set a new password, your account will be granted a Moneybags' Purse, which increases your looted coin by 10%, even if you have not yet purchased Rift."
Back in March, an account security exploit in Rift was fixed with the help of a "white hat" - or ethical hacker.
Also, Trion sent out an e-mail this morning concerning this as well:

We recently discovered that unauthorized intruders gained access to a Trion Worlds account database. The database in question contained information including user names, encrypted passwords, dates of birth, email addresses, billing addresses, and the first and last four digits and expiration dates of customer credit cards.
There is no evidence, and we have no reason to believe, that full credit card information was accessed or compromised in any way. We have already taken further action to strengthen our systems, even as we, with external security experts, continue to research the extent of the unauthorized access.
You will notice on your next log in to our website that you will be required to change your password, and existing Mobile Authenticator users will also need to reconnect their Authenticator. When you log in, you will be prompted to provide a new password, security questions and answers, and be given the option to connect your account to our Mobile Authenticator to enhance your account’s security.
If you have used your username and password for other accounts, especially financial accounts or accounts with personal information, we suggest you change your passwords on those accounts as well. We recommend that you carefully review your statements, account activity, and credit reports to help protect the security of those accounts. If you need information on how to obtain your credit report or believe any such accounts have been breached, please visit www.trionworlds.com/AccountNotification for more information.
You should have continued, uninterrupted access to RIFT, and we do not anticipate any disruptions to your playing time.
Nevertheless, if you own the RIFT game, you will be granted three (3) days of complimentary RIFT game time once you update your password and security questions.
Additionally, once you update your account and set a new password, your account will be granted a Moneybags’ Purse, which increases your looted coin by 10%, even if you have not yet purchased RIFT.
Please log in to https://rift.trionworlds.com (and we recommend that you copy and paste this link into your browser to access the site) to update your password, security questions and Authenticator.
I've been watching to see what happened for a few days, tonight an official statement was given. I suggest everybody with a Steam account change their passwords just for safety's sake:

Dear Steam Users and Steam Forum Users:
Our Steam forums were defaced on the evening of Sunday, November 6. We began investigating and found that the intrusion goes beyond the Steam forums.
We learned that intruders obtained access to a Steam database in addition to the forums. This database contained information including user names, hashed and salted passwords, game purchases, email addresses, billing addresses and encrypted credit card information. We do not have evidence that encrypted credit card numbers or personally identifying information were taken by the intruders, or that the protection on credit card numbers or passwords was cracked. We are still investigating.
We don’t have evidence of credit card misuse at this time. Nonetheless you should watch your credit card activity and statements closely.
While we only know of a few forum accounts that have been compromised, all forum users will be required to change their passwords the next time they login. If you have used your Steam forum password on other accounts you should change those passwords as well.
We do not know of any compromised Steam accounts, so we are not planning to force a change of Steam account passwords (which are separate from forum passwords). However, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to change that as well, especially if it is the same as your Steam forum account password.
We will reopen the forums as soon as we can.
I am truly sorry this happened, and I apologize for the inconvenience.
With the latest changes by Guild Launch, we now can support subdomains for all our sites. As such, you can now access all the sites in the form of game.the-eternal-watch.com
As such, all our websites now have the following URL's:
Those addresses will now get you to the appropriate homepages and from now on I'll be utilizing that form of URL for any future games and additional web sites.
Paid sites (currently WoW, Rift, SWTOR) can use the subdomain names for everything (forums, galleries, etc.); however, the free sites will have to navigate still utilizing the "the-eternal-watch-game.guildlaunch.com" domains, but if you can get to the homepages, every other link works fine!
As always, the old addresses will always work, so nothing really is changing in terms of your bookmarks and that unless you want to clean them up a bit.
A lot of people have been looking for something to in their spare time...too tired of WoW or other MMO's and still waiting on SWTOR, BF3, CODMW3, etc. to come out. Several of us have been playing League of Legends so here's a quick blurb for those interested!

League of Legends is a game that is taking the online world by storm. Called a MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena), League of Legends recently expanded with Dominion. MMORPG.com's Joe Sanicky has a comprehensive new review of League of Legends. Check out why Joe thinks that LoL just might be the WoW of MOBAs. Leave us your reactions in the comments.

Whether it is to laud or condemn them Riot’s vocal fans are quick to judge their multitude of trend-setting decisions which include but are not limited to: a player-powered banning system, bi-weekly champion releases, various e-sports offerings, oft radical balance changes, and most recently a new map and game mode. Never has the time been better for League of Legends players to take to the Fields of Justice to exactly their deadly plans, however, does the game hold up the scrutiny of millions or is all the success just an enormous, hype-driven fluke? It’s time to find out!
